Haven’t you always wanted to get a brand logo tattooed all over your body? Â No? Â That’s right: nobody wants to be a sell-out. Â Nobody, that is, except for Jessica Murray. And this girl. And this guy.
Jessica loves Chevrolet. Â Or, that’s what we’re all lead to believe, by the fact that she recently opted for a 10 inch long Chevy logo square between her shoulder blades. Â Don’t judge her too quickly though: Jessica did this for a Chevy contest, not out of unrequited love for an anthropomorphized ideal of her beloved Bow Tie brand.
Ms. Murray was participating in a challenge utilizing the Chevy Traverse to go to South-by-SouthWest (SXSW) film festival, in Austin, Texas. Â This loving tribute to classic American consumerism was for a part of Chevy’s challenge to “make a collage of a single stop covering all five senses”.
She got half of the tattoo done during a power outage, and was finished using nothing more than the dim light from a Zippo.
What did she win? Â Good question: all we know for sure is that she really likes the Traverse in white, and that she got to drive it to Texas. Â Unless you count asking friends to lotion your back for three weeks a prize, in which case she maybe can get the Old Spice guy to do it.
