Those are the words of a GM engineer via Autoblog Green. The quote also backs up previous rumors that there is indeed a Cadillac SRX plug-in hybrid in the works, though GM’s PR team denies it.
As for the 166, that number is reported to be a code for Epsilon II-based vehicles. And considering the production-bound Cadillac XTS Platinum Concept was both a plug-in and an Epsilon IIÂ derivative… well, do we really need to spell it out for you?
