  1. Not all that suprising, curb weights about the same, the clasic Regal has easaly 100 more lbs/ft to stomp with and maybee 30 to 40 hp.

  3. Me too
We need that Tubo V6 and AWD, this is a Buick after all, a premium performance sedan. GM competes with Audi in Europe wether it wants to or not, Here in the USA competeing with Audi, Acura, Infinity, would increce sales a good bit, increce prestige even more, which is good for the brand long term.

  4. Different vehicles built for different purposes..

the REgal GS will certainly out corner, handle, brake and offer a level of refinement that the 1987 Grand National will never achieve.

Good for a story line but not much else. The GNX will also out run an audi A4?

The 220 hp regal turbo is a nice vehicle…

  5. Yes but in it’s day the GN was quite the thing. To bad GM did’nt continue devolopment of the tubocharged Buick V6, could you imagine if the 91 Fierbird GTA had an available manual transmision, could you imagine if the 93 LT1 and Lt4 had been tubocharged and intercooled, OMG I do’nt think the new 5.0 Mustang would even be relevent today because the Mustang would have gone out of production in like 95

  6. I don’t think this is the car that we should be putting up against the Grand National. I hate it when these media-types jump the gun, trying to be the first to put the Old Warrior up against the Modern Soldier. There’s nothing wrong with that battle, but here, we have the Warrior up against a Boy Scout.
