It probably has something to do with its jaw-dropping looks, or perhaps its fantastic bang-for-buck ratio. Whatever the reasons were that empowered consumers to buy 81,371 Chevrolet Camaros to beat out the 73,716 Ford Mustangs sold during 2010, everybody wins.Â

I dig the camaro SS and upcoming Z28 far and away much more than the new mustang. The styling on the mustang is clearly dated from its basic proportions..
Ford finally did the engine compartment up right with all its powerplants and even the suspension tuning is excellent.
I like the mustang but the short overhangs of the camaro just give it a much more modern and to me…a more attractive look.
I think the consumer is agreeing because thats what they are buying…
Should last a few years for GM success and of course its good for ford sales as well.
Only thing that could kill this segment is rising gas prices!!! BEWARE!!! 😉
