Motorsports Tycoon Rick Hendrick Placed Winning Bid For Special Chevy Volt

Few people in the motorsports owners arena reach legendary status. Rick Hendrick is one of those people. And when the NASCAR mogul isn’t busy running Hendrick Motorsports or his dealership chain, Hendrick Automotive, he seems to be investing his earnings in very exclusive and collectible vehicles at major auctions such as Barrett-Jackson, placing bids on one-of-a-kind machines. That said, it comes as no surprise that Mr. Hendrick was the one who came on top with the winning $225,000 bid for the Chevrolet Volt that recently finished its charity auction. Robert Bobb and the Detroit Public School District are very grateful.
Kudos Mr Hendrick, Your a fierce competetor, and also a good human being: thanks for suporting GM, the USA and humanity in our efforts to move forward not back. Here’s to the quality of life and creative opportunity continuing to be better for every new generation of Americans.
