Through the month of November, GM India saw vehicle sales cross the 100,000 milestone, thereby meeting a goal set for the year a whole month ahead of schedule. The amount surpassed sales of 61,321 vehicles sold during the same period last year – giving GM India a 63.1 percent increase in sales. The gains are largely credited to the popularity of the Chevrolet Cruze and Beat, however the entire lineup saw gains just as well.
“This is a momentous occasion and a historic milestone for all of us at GM India. We are very excited by the tremendous response that we have received from our valued customers,” said GM India Vice President Mr. P. Balendran.
“Introduction of best-in-segment cars from the 300 series, rapid network expansion for increased customer outreach, our unique value proposition like Chevrolet Cashless Ownership offer, innovative marketing initiatives and our promise to deliver quality and performance are the factors that have led to this achievement. The economic growth that in turn propelled the growth in the automobile sector has resulted in sustaining this momentum.”
