Though it won’t make it in time for the holidays, the Chevrolet Camaro Convertible is still very much on its way. And much like its brother that features a stationary roof, the ‘vert will offer 1LT, 2LT, 1SS and 2SS packages.
Expect the trim levels to be virtually identical to the current fixed-top Camaro, with the LT packages offering the SAE-rated, 312 hp LLT V6 engine and the SS variants getting the bellowing 426 hp LS3 V8. Six speed automatic and manual transmissions will be offered for each package.
Here’s the breakdown on what each trim package costs:
- 1LT: $29,150
- 2LT: $32,650
- 1SS: $36,650
- 2SS: $39,650
The base convertible model costs nearly a full $5K more than the base Camaro hard top, but it seems to be worth it.
