You would think the Chevrolet Cruze world tour would be over by now, but with its latest launch in Thailand, that seems to be far from the case.
Engines for Thai Cruze include a 1.6 liter 4-cylinder ECOTEC producing 109 hp and 150 Nm of torque, a 1.8 liter 4-cylinder ECOTEC producing 141 hp and 177 Nm of torque, and a 2.0 liter turbocharged diesel 4-cylinder producing 150 hp and 320 Nm of torque. A six speed automatic is standard across the range, while the 1.6 and 1.8 can be equipped with a five speed manual.
“The Cruze’s sales growth in every market in which it has been launched is phenomenal. We have a strong network of 93 dealers nationwide that are well-prepared to deliver best-in-class service to customers. That is why I am confident that the Cruze has the potential to attract more than 10,000 customers in Thailand in its first full year of sales,” said Martin Apfel, President of GM Thailand/South East Asia and Chevrolet Sales Thailand.
GM will be offering test drives of the Cruze at the MotorExpo in Thailand December 1st through December 12th.
