South African Tuning Company Develop LS9-Powered SuperUte

The teasing continues. This $91K representation of bad-ass carrying the SuperUte name is made by LupiniPower – a family-owned performance company based in South Africa.

The mad geniuses within the walls of Lupini decided that only the 6.2L supercharged LS9 would do for this project. The result is a 535 hp Chevrolet Ute SS, capable of going from 0-60 mph in 4.4 seconds and from 0-100 mph in less than 10 seconds. The Lupini SuperUte will even stand toe-to-toe with the likes of the much more expensive Ferrari 612 Scaglietti.

If only it were available in North America…
