SEMA 2010: Chevrolet Volt Z-Spec

It turns out the Chevrolet Volt has a wild side with a little imagination. Though it’s not outright obnoxious by any means, the Volt Z-Spec shows plenty of aggression with its 19-inch GM Accessory wheels, modified rear fascia and lower rocker panels.
If you’re looking to have the hottest Volt on the block, we definitely see some great styling cues here. Inside we’ve got custom Z-Spec door inserts and floormats, racing-style pedals and a flat bottom leather-wrapped steering wheel. Of course, under the hood lies the well-publicized Voltec powerplant seen in the standard Volt. For more, have a look at the high-res gallery and the presser below.

Damn GM, trying to be innovative
A very useful comment! Thanks for your wonderful insight… NOT
I, for one, wonder what kind of effect this wheel/tire combo will have on the Volt’s fuel economy. As we know, the Volt has low-rolling resistance tires – and these probably don’t carry the same qualities.
