After 36 years of working for General Motors dealerships, Mr. Goodwrench has been shown the door. Replacing him will be Chevrolet Certified Service, Buick Certified Service, GMC Certified Service, and Cadillac Certified Service.
GM claims its latest move is to help emphasize the company’s brands equally and somewhat separately. Additionally, Leo Burnett – the same ad agency that handled Mr. Goodwrench – will be responsible for the advertising. Leo Burnett handles both GMC and Buick accounts as well.
Aside from the name swap, customers should not expect anything (or anyone) different when they visit their nearest General Motors dealership for maintenance.
