SEMA 2010: Jake Edition Corvette Stops In To Say Hello

We all know that Jake, the skull mascot of the Corvette Racing team, is arguably the best mascot in the world of motorsports (not that there are many.) Because of Jake’s sheer awesomeness, General Motors is taking it in stride and showing off the one-off Corvette Jake Edition Concept.
What makes the Jake Edition Corvette a concept is the fact that some of the decals seen on the modified Corvette Grand Sport are not on the market quite yet.
However, plans are in place to rectify this, with such additions as the Jake floor mats and console lid, as well as special wheel center caps, coming soon. Other parts, such as the featured hood graphic and competition-gray Z06 wheels, are offered as Genuine Corvette Accessories.
This Corvette can go on record as this writer’s favorite in the looks department. Now if only it came with the almighty 638hp LS9…
