At the beginning of the month, General Motors managed to do what no other global automaker has yet to do in the Chinese market by selling 2 million vehicles.
Just three years ago, GM was also the first global automaker to sell one million vehicles annually in China. The fact that it only took three years to double The General’s Chinese sales numbers is an honest sign on where the country is heading economically. The number also bypasses the current annual sales total for U.S. market sales for General Motors (1,717,114 as of the end of October.) From the looks of things, there seems to be no stopping the momentum of the Chinese market in the near future.
