“It’s been called Spaceship Earth. Not a big place, but it’s our place; and we’re learning that what happens in one part of it affects all of us.”
That’s the opening line of Chevy’s newest commercial promoting the bow tie brand’s environmentally-friendly nature. As you may imagine, the ad mentions Chevrolet’s “greenest” vehicles such as the Volt and Cruze, while reminding viewers of GM’s newest environmental effort to invest in the cleanup of eight million metric tons of carbon footprint.

If you believe this tripe then why not do the right thing. eliminate Corvette, Camaro, Cadillac, the Truck division, and just build the cars nobody wants. Except our government, they seem to have lots of money and are quite willing to prop up hybrids and electrics.
Hah! That’s a good point Dan.
I guess it’s all about striking the right balance between the cars that people DO want (‘Vette, Camaro, Caddys, trucks) while offering the alternative to those who want something like a Volt, etc. Balance is power here 🙂
