Capitalizing on the popularity of the new Camaro, the same folks who make GM High Tech Performance have published a magazine for the reborn Chevy pony car. The publication — titled Camaro Now — is currently a “one shot” issue that’s printed on top quality paper stock, with excellent feature photography, and a focus on cutting-edge technology. It will be available until January 11, 2011 – or until all printed copies sell out.
The first issue covers the following topics:
Tech:
- 25 Proven tips and tricks
- Fastlane’s ZL1 turbo kit install (585 rwhp)
- LS3/L99 Camshaft shootout with MAST Motorsports
- Basic LS3 bolt-on’s with East Coast Supercharging (+64-rwhp!)
- BBK Performance V-6 LLT long-tube headers and intake install (+21.8-rwhp)
- Nitto drag radials, Driveshaft Shop axles and Pfadt trailing arm install
- Suspension 101, an in-depth look at the 5th-Gen’s unique suspension
- Body modifications with Innovative Vehicle Solution’s Havoc kit
Features:
- Howard Tanner’s 775-rwhp blown LS7
- Gib Gaeke’s 508-rwhp all-motor LS3
- The first 9-second 2010 of all time
- Rodrigo Olmedo’s turbocharged show-stopper
- Rick Bottom’s 875-rwhp SEMA Camaro
The future of the publication depends on the success of the first issues – which will in itself be a testament to the strength and breadth of the new Camaro fan base. Let’s hope there’s a future for this ‘zine.
