Right when we thought Holden has outdone itself with the latest Series II Commodore range, GM’s Australian subsidiary has gone ahead and upped the ante by offering a Redline edition of its V-Series models, which include the Calais V-Series, SS V-Series sedan, Sportwagon, and Ute.
The Redline edition becomes the top-of-the-line of the updated VE Series II range and gives the V-Series badged Commodores an extra performance edge with new four-piston Brembo front brakes, forged and polished 19-inch alloy wheels, and a track-inspired FE3 super sports suspension. The interior also gets a few extra goodies, including full color mapping satellite navigation and a backup camera.
And as if that wasn’t enough, the Redline edition V8 (Generation IV alloy carrying a production code of L76) is able to run on E85. If you’re interested in one of these models, you can walk run down to your nearest Holden dealer in October.
