Vauxhall Donates Vehicles To Charity, Extends Support To Help For Heroes

Help for Heroes, a British charity started in 2007, helps raise money for rehabilitation centers and services to help the Armed Forces of the United Kingdom. General Motors’ Vauxhall arm is a sponsor of the charity and has been hosting events to help raise money. Now, Vauxhall has donated two Insignia Sports Tourers (wagons) and a Movano van to the charity.

The Insignia Sports Tourers will be used to transport staff to Help for Heroes fundraising events while the Movano will be primarily serve as a vehicle to move merchandise and boxes. The vehicles have been draped in the Help for Heroes livery to attract attention and create awareness of the organization. Bryn Parry, co-founder of Help for Heroes said:

“Help for Heroes’ fundraising events take place across the UK and Europe and a range of vehicles are needed to successfully support them. The addition of two Vauxhall Insignia Sports Tourers and the Movano will be a real boon to all the Help for Heroes staff who will be able to travel in comfortable, practical vehicles that I’m sure they will enjoy driving. Help for Heroes extends its thanks once again to Vauxhall.”

The vehicles have already been on duty, with the Insignia Sports Tourers participating in Help for Heroes’ signature event, the Big Battlefield Bike Ride, serving as transport for riders and their bicycles.
