New Talent: Cadillac Picks Fallon As New Creative Agency

Cadillac has just announced that it has selected Fallon as its new creative agency of record.
In January, Brian Nesbitt – who at the time was the head of Cadillac but has since then moved on to executive director of GM’s advanced concept group – made the decision to give the Cadillac account to Bartle Bogle Hegarty (BBH). However, The General’s new marketing sheriff, Joel Ewanick, apparently believes that Fallon can do a better job.
“Cadillac products today compete head-to-head with the best in the world. Fallon’s deep, 17 year experience with other luxury automotive brands like Porsche and BMW makes them a perfect fit for our flagship brand,” said Joel Ewanick, vice president, U.S. Marketing.
“We look forward to working with Fallon to illuminate Cadillac as the new ‘Standard of the World,’” said Don Butler, vice president, Cadillac Marketing.
