This one falls in the awesome category. Imagine the following scenario: China, woman walking in a dark and desolate street in the middle of the night. A thief runs up behind the woman and snatches her purse, then proceeds to run away.
That’s exactly what happened in this video (available after the break). But contrary to what you may have expected, the bad guy doesn’t get away with murder the purse and is instead chased down by a 3,900-pound Cadillac CTS. The Caddy drifts around a corner and catches the thief.
Now, some have questioned the authenticity of the video, saying that it may have been staged (that’s a YouTube meme for ya). While we aren’t privy to the legitimacy of the clip at hand, but we think that Caddy (and its advertising agency) should think about incorporating either the video or certain aspects thereof into the brand’s advertising campaigns. Perhaps the next incarnation of Cadillac’s slogan should be Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Thieves… but we digress. Watch the video in its full glory after the jump!
