2011 GMC Sierra HD To Launch With Ads From ‘Dude Perfect’ (With Video)

GMC has teamed up with Dude Perfect – a group of students from Texas A&M known for making astoundingly intricate and formidable basketball shots – to launch its 2011 Sierra HD pickup trucks (aka earthmover in a tux).
TV ads for the all-new GMC Heavy Dutys begin airing next month and here’s a sneak peek of what they’ll entail. The campaign was introduced at a GM fleet preview event in Detroit last week by John Schwegman, U.S. Marketing Vice President for Buick-GMC.
Since GMC emphasizes the professional grade engineering of its products, we’re not exactly sure whether college dudes with (what seems to be) a whole lot of free time on their hands will have a favorable impact on the introduction of the heavy duty Sierras. Where’s Mr. Joel Ewanick when you need him?
