GM Issues Service Bulletins For 2010 Chevy Camaro

If you’re an owner of a 2010 Chevy Camaro, it’s time to take a break from burnin’ rubber and swing by your local Chevy dealer. GM has issued a service bulletin for its reborn pony cars that may prove to be problematic for some owners. Here are the three issues:

  1. The HVAC module will reportedly prevent HVAC evaporator freeze-up after long highway drives. The HVAC must be reprogrammed
  2. The nuts that hold the spoiler together with the trunk lid need to be tightened. This issue only applies to vehicles with VIN numbers A9126194 and below
  3. The engine harness of all V8-equipped models needs to be inspected to ensure that the heater hose clamps are not in contact with the harness bracket

This is not a recall, just a service bulletin. It’s recommended that Camaro owners have these items checked out the next time they visit a dealer for service.
