If you’re an owner of a 2010 Chevy Camaro, it’s time to take a break from burnin’ rubber and swing by your local Chevy dealer. GM has issued a service bulletin for its reborn pony cars that may prove to be problematic for some owners. Here are the three issues:
- The HVAC module will reportedly prevent HVAC evaporator freeze-up after long highway drives. The HVAC must be reprogrammed
- The nuts that hold the spoiler together with the trunk lid need to be tightened. This issue only applies to vehicles with VIN numbers A9126194 and below
- The engine harness of all V8-equipped models needs to be inspected to ensure that the heater hose clamps are not in contact with the harness bracket
This is not a recall, just a service bulletin. It’s recommended that Camaro owners have these items checked out the next time they visit a dealer for service.
