When I got my canyon in 2016, I had no problems using the hands free ‘Call’ followed by contact name.
Just recently (past 3 months or so), when I would do the same, it replies with ‘say a command’, or takes me to the navigation option.
I have unpaired and repaired my phone several times and it doesn’t work with my iPhone I use for work either which leads me to believe this is a vehicle issue however no one at my GM dealership has any suggestions. I brought up the issue when I went in for my last oil change. The tech guy even tried it and couldn’t get his phone to work either.
If I bring up the contact on my phone and hit dial, I can speak with them over the hands free just fine.
I am open for suggestions or help on this. TIA
