The 2019 Blazer is offered with the following gasoline engines:
- 2.5L LCV naturally-aspirated inline four-cylinder rated at 193 horsepower (144 kW) and 188 pound-feet (255 Nm) of torque
- 3.6L LGX naturally-aspirated V6 rated at 305 horsepower (227 kW) and 269 pound-feet (365 Nm) of torque

Both of the 2019 Blazer engines are paired with the GM 9-speed automatic transmission.
2019 Chevrolet Blazer Drive Wheels
Front-wheel-drive (FWD) is standard on the 2019 Blazer. All-wheel-drive (AWD) is optional, and AWD models have Traction Select – which allows the system to be completely disconnected from the rear axle, meaning drivers can opt to have their vehicle operate in FWD when AWD traction is not necessary.
Blazer RS and Blazer Premier models offer a more sophisticated twin-clutch AWD technology that helps optimize traction for every condition. Chevrolet says that the system provides excellent performance in wet, snowy and icy conditions, while also providing enhanced stability in dry weather.
2019 Chevrolet Blazer Axle
The 2019 Blazer offers 3.80 final drive axle ratio for models with the 2.5L I4 engine and 3.49 final drive axle ratio for models with the 3.6L V6 engine.
