2020 Cadillac CT6
The Cadillac CT6 is expected to receive various minor changes and updates for the 2020 model year.
Following is speculative and unconfirmed information about the 2020 Cadillac CT6. This page is a continuous work-in-progress and will be updated on a regular basis as we await official details from General Motors and Cadillac.
If you notice any inaccuracies about the information provided, or have edits to suggest, please let us know here.
The CT6 underwent a very thorough refresh/facelift for the 2019 model year, which brought about updates to the exterior design, powertrains, and in-vehicle technology (see complete info on the 2019 Cadillac CT6). As such, we do not expect the 2020 model year to bring many changes for the full-size sedan.
Following are our expectations of the 2020 Cadillac CT6:
- No changes to exterior design
- Introduction of a few new exterior colors
- No changes to interior design
- Introduction of a new interior color combination
- Updates to in-vehicle technology not expected
2020 Cadillac CT6 spy shots are currently not available, and we do not expect to see them given that GM/Cadillac will not need to test the vehicle with camouflage with the few changes it is expected to receive.
The 2020 Cadillac CT6 continues to be offered as a four-door full-size sedan.
Like all first-generation units of the Cadillac CT6, the 2020 CT6 continues to ride on GM Omega platform. The architecture is currently not shared with any other vehicles in the Cadillac or GM vehicle portfolios.
We expect the 2020 Cadillac CT6 to continue being offered with the same five engine choices as the 2019 model. With the exception to the CT6 Plug-In Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV), all engines will be mated to the GM 10-speed automatic transmission.
We have included the 2019 Cadillac CT6 powertrain lineup for reference below.

We expect the 2020 Cadillac CT6 to have similar pricing as the 2019 model. We will update this section once Cadillac prices the 2020 CT6. In the meantime, see 2019 Cadillac CT6 prices.
We expect the 2020 CT6 to follow the regular GM model year rollover sequence, and launch in the third quarter of the 2019 calendar year.
We expect that the first-generation CT6 will live on thru at least the 2022 model year, and that an all-new, future Cadillac CT6 will launch thereafter.
