    It’s always exciting to see a new vehicle for the first time. But for some of us – yours truly included – it’s just as electrifying (pun intended) to see this vehicle go through the various testing stages before reaching production and general availability.

    Recently, the Chevy Volt team took the upcoming plug-in EV to Kapuskasing, Ontario, Canada for some cold weather testing, where temperatures fall well into the negative double-digits (Celsius). Since GM engineered the Volt for all seasons and climates, this is a crucial performance and durability test. Right after the break, we have Volt Chief Engineer Andrew Farah and Global Voltec and Plug-In Hybrid Electric Powertrain Chief Engineer Pam Fletcher tell us some more about the test – with awesome in-the-snow Volt footage (and pictures) to boot!
