Spy Shots Show 2021 Cadillac Escalade Interior For The First Time

We’ve already shown you exterior photos of the future Cadillac Escalade as it was undergoing testing, but we have yet to see the cabin of the all-new luxury SUV, until now. That’s because we just managed to grab a few photos of the 2021 Cadillac Escalade interior as it was driving on public roads, giving us our first look at the utility’s center stack.
The photos show a tablet-like center screen running the latest, third-generation CUE infotainment system. The display looks larger than the screen in the current-, fourth-generation Escalade. To the left of the display is a vertical row of buttons to select the gear. The shots show an illuminated “D” – for Drive. Notice that there isn’t a column-mounted shifter. It’s worth noting that GM Authority was first to exclusively report on both elements.
Below the screen is a pair of air vents, and below those are media controls via two circular knobs – one for the audio volume (on the driver’s side) and channel/track seek/tuning (on the passenger’s side).
Below the media controls are the HVAC controls, including two temperature controls – one for the driver and another for the front passenger. They flank an air fan speed dial.
In what we see so far, the 2021 Cadillac Escalade interior will feature various metallic accents that work rather tastefully with the visible piano black features.
We should see the Escalade revealed in the very near future. It will launch in late 2019 or early 2020 calendar year as a 2021 model.
Update: it’s very possible that this interior belongs to the 2021 Escalade, rather that the GMC Yukon. We’re unclear at the moment.

So even if this is not the Cadillac Escalade and it’s the GMC, it doesn’t change what appears to be a very bad dash design. Again, waiting to see (whatever it is) the final product before committing to ugly. lol.
I want to believe the people that say this is GMC interior an not Cadillac because iam hoping they don’t think they can go up against Lincoln with that plus I remember all the comments about the 2019 Sierra before it came out it was supposed to have a 10 in screen so it’s hard for me to believe these people when they say they already seen the new Cadillac interior
This is gmc. And looks pretty good FOR It. This is lincolns level. Or probably even better .
As for the escalade. Well when u see it u will forget about Lincoln or anything else. That’s how great it looks.
@Benny:
You are basing this off the above pics? Or, did you see something in person that we are not seeing?
Just BUILD THE DAMN THING ALREADY . . . lol. All this anticipation may be another build up for a great disappointment. I want to see the 5.3L V8, the 6.2L V8, the 4.2L TT V8, and an Electric Hybrid Version. I want to see all the indepentant Rear Suspension & Double Dual Exhausts, and a PANORAMIC SUNROOF (finally). No less than 6 leather interior choices.
5.3? Are you on drugs?
Christ Almighty.
That does not look encouraging at all.
This might be ok for the Chevy or Yukon but not a Caddy. Hey Alex – ever since you guys posted grainy photos of the “6.2L” badging on the new 2020 HD gassers your credibility has gone down considerably…Just saying.
i do not see where you guys are getting yukon from if it has cadillac-esque grille…………
You’re forgetting that mules can have exterior swaps to fool people. I have no clue what the Escalade looks like from the interior but based on other sources and news sites about the 5th. gen model. I’m more than confident that this is Yukon & Tahoe.
Will GM give their large SUV offerings their own distinctive interiors by brand? The Chevrolet Suburban and Tahoe being the most utilitarian but still refined, the Yukon offerings the middle run of the GM SUVs, and the Escalade offerings the most luxurious? Also, refering to the absence of a column shifter in the Escalade, does that apply to the Yukon offerings as well where as the blue collared Suburban and Tahoe keeping the column shifter as part of their tradition?
It looks like the screen retracts! That’s good, cause I’d hate to have an ugly screen in the way the whole time. I hate the look of Tesla with a freaking iPad on the dash.
I have a 2013 ESV been waiting for the 2021 ESV to replace it but if this is truly the Interior of the Escalade I will be buying something else from the competition truly disappointing if it is a Caddy
Hey Stavros. Were you expecting an Escala Screen layout as I was?
I was expecting a lot more from Cadillac the knobs look horrible I just hope that they dont make the mistake of doing a cheap job on the Escalade for higher profits
Agreed.

Let Cadillac be Cadillac. Super cruise only works on highways. Depending on your city. Miami Beach does not have any highways it would be usless.
The women asked in the last decade Cadillac has a two reboots of its line – ATS, XTS, CTS .. now CT4/5
The panel asked why isn’t Cadillac pushing Supercruise in Ads.
They asked why the XT6 does not have the SC – excuse.
No time table on what SUV will have the SC
Some new buyers are coming on into Cadillac but not enough
Talks about Tech but really all Cadillac has is SC and the rear cam video
EVs – its coming. Not much more other than the cartoon image.
Book by Cadillac – a new verison may come out shortly. Why it did not work. Many people didn’t do. I can understand that.
Price They cited Lexus – start out low and build up on. A CTS is now 14k higher than before. Priced liked Germans did not work.
Image – Germans and Lexus. What makes Cadillac Great? Younger people do not really know of Cadillac being an old man brand.
Competition – Who is it? The Germans and Lexus? Well no but no clear target.
What she is saying Cadillac is going to do what the others have done for years.
Alex, do you have your recent update backwards? The article already says that it’s the Escalade. Thanks.
Mary Bara needs to be fired.
Alex deleted his posts. Lol
Why did you delete my posts, Alex? 🙂
Once again. This is not the Escalade!
The shape of the center stack is the shape most GMC’s are using now and the corporate switch gear below, this isn’t an Escalade. But interesting that its also using the push button shifter, I wonder if its just higher spec models or if all of the full sizers are going to use it.
I think it’s safe to assume that the push button shifter will appear in at least some of the Chevys and/or GMCs, if not all of them. If GMAuthority re-writes the story to say this is one of the new GM interiors, then it will be fine. But the claim that this is the Caddy interior just doesn’t pass the smell test for all of the reasons provided in the comments section.
The second comment here said, ” its hard to see but this seems underwhelming” which is “The New GM”… My comment on the spy shot of the interior is , “I’ll bet its “JET BLACK” or “JET BLACK with Tan parts”…. GM interiors SUCK and thats where you spend your time.. this company is run by pathetic, over paid, idiots…
Hmmmmm. I wonder where everyone is that was stating the NEW Escalade will 100% have an Escala Screen Layout?
I am not making a statement about this interior photo at all by my next statement but Boy oh Boy did Cadillac miss out on something special by forgoing the Escala Screen Setup on their new Cars. What a Shame.
Read the previous page. Most of us have come to the conclusion that these pictures are actually of the Yukon and not the Escalade.
I think Momolos is saying that Cadillac should have used the Escala design language on all of their new vehicles.
That is exactly what I was trying to state. I think Cadillac had something special with the Screen Setup on the Escala concept that could have put them back in the Luxury Game.
I mean the new offerings do not even have fully Digital Gauge Clusters. Is there any and I do mean any Luxury makers that do not have fully Digital Guage clusters as an option?
I mean even the last Gen Cadillac sedans did. I honestly just do not understand how GM makes decisions.
I hope everyone is correct about this being a GMC but that screen looks an awful lot like the CT4, CT5, and XT4.
Here I am. Id say, im one of them.
And ill tell u once again. Escalade will get a long screen Ala Escala. That spy pic does not belong to the Escalade. With all my respect to Alex, but he is wrong. He has deleted not only his posts here ,but also my posts. Shame on him. Hes acting like a Lil child. Because of him lots of people got a wrong information.
Yep, credibility is lacking lately. And, this is totally a Chevy of gmc product. I’m avidly thinking it’s the Tahoe, just based on the screen, looks like a bigger, more premium version of the one in the blazer.
I hope so. Cadillac needs the Escala Screen setup badly in my opinion.
Look at the mirror shape in the reflection of the spy shots. It has an edge that does not match the exterior shots of the escalade
Hey Guys,
Even tho it’s cadillac fashion to overpromise and underdeliver, (it was said new gen would have s class quality interior)
1 thing that I see makes me think it’s a gmc yukon.
Look at the picture again,
Gauge cluster has yellow needle sticking out.
Caddy would have all digital gauge right ?
Looks chaotic, as though we’re looking at a prelim design. To go from a very nice integrated design in the current Yukon and Tahoe to something this tagged together would be unusual. And the only tacked on screen that I’ve seen recently that I’ve liked is the Telluride, but only because it’s an elongated screen that matches the other design elements. The Explorer is lousy.
