A stock sixth-generation Chevrolet Camaro SS already sounds great. But Corsa Performance insists that owners increase their performance and sound with the newly announced cat-back exhaust system. The set up consists of either a 3.0-inch Double X-pipe, and a 2.75-inch Axle-Back, available in both single and twin tip exits. The system is also available for the sixth-gen Chevrolet Camaro ZL1.
Options are always nice to have when looking to build a car and Corsa offers just that. Depending on the sound level Camaro owners want, they will have their choices between three sound levels: Sport, Extreme, and Extreme+.
Sport offers a high performance sound, a decent rumble at idle, and a roar at full chat. Moving up, the extreme sound level is more aggressive, has a deeper growl at idle, bold during acceleration, and screams at high RPM’s.
As you can imagine, Extreme+ takes things even further by replacing the restrictive factory resonators on the 2016-2018 Camaro and adding a Double X-Pipe. The Extreme+ sound is in its own league when it comparing it to the other Corsa Performance sound levels.
Additionally, the Corsa cat-back exhaust system is claimed to improve airflow by 10 percent, add nine horsepower, along with 12 lb-ft of torque. The install is a simple bolt-on process, features a lifetime warranty, and is made in the United States.
