Since 2016, Chevrolet has sold the Cavalier in China, and last Tuesday, the brand announced a new Cavalier variant: the 325T.
The Chevrolet Cavalier 325T will boast a frugal 1.0-liter turbocharged engine that makes 118 horsepower and 122 pound-feet of torque. With a six-speed automatic transmission, the Cavalier will sip just 1.3 gallons of fuel for every 62 miles driven, per GM estimates.
Cavalier 325T models don’t differ much from other Cavalier variants, but all sport rather good-looking flowing lines, and the car offers a handful of premium technologies. Standard equipment includes a 7-inch touchscreen, surround-audio system and an air filter.
Don’t expect to see the Cavalier return to North America, but in China, it’s been a smash hit. Since 2016, Chevrolet has sold 240,000 of them.
