2019 Camaro SS Exterior Colors Surface

The refreshed 2019 Camaro SS was unveiled in a deep blue color (called Riverside Blue Metallic). Though generally an attractive color, the hue doesn’t seem to truly show off the revised front fascia of the new pony car. But now, we’ve dug up images of the 2019 Camaro SS in different colors via the official Chevrolet website, and we have them for you just below.
Overall, Chevy shows the 2019 Camaro SS in these seven exterior colors:
- Black
- Mosaic Black Metallic
- Garnet Red Tintcoat
- Red Hot
- Satin Steel Grey Metallic
- Summit White
- Riverside Blue Metallic
For the sake of comparison, buyers of the 2018 Camaro SS could choose from 11 different hues, so we wouldn’t be surprised to see more colors added to the palette in the near future.
The GM Authority Take
Having looked at the updated Camaro in Grey, Summit White and Red Hot, we have to admit that the 2019 Camaro SS, whose front fascia is significantly different compared to its LS and LT siblings, and one that has been criticized by many fans and enthusiasts, looks better in a lighter/brighter color than the blue in which it was introduced.
Of course, some might not share the same opinion – so tell us what you think in the comments below.
I actually like it, guess I am in the minority on this site. If they could figure out the horribly bad interior, that might convince me to actually buy one. Honestly, by far the worst interior of any of the Big 3 muscle cars. I can’t nitpick the exterior too much since the interior is something even Pitfall Harry would jump over.
Two blacks and two shades of red but no green, orange, yellow, light blue or even maroon. Exterior/interior color choices have been a major GM weakness for years now
Here’s a idea why dont you paint the car the color of your choice of you want a custom color?
I am in Total Love with this Car, Best One Yet!!! Love the New Blue!!!
I think the 2019 refresh looks good.
I love the way it looks! People are just way to critical!
My wife’s 2014 Camaro RS 2LT is painted Crystal Red Metallic. I wanted to buy her a 2018, but she declined the offer because the 2018 shades of red just cannot compete with the Crystal Red Metallic. From what I can see, the 2019’s are not going to compete either. Sad!
A shade of red is keeping you from buying a car! Dude that is pathetic!
When buying a new car for your wife, the color is important. Sorry you are offended. Served 22-years on the Marine Corps to protect your freedom of speech, even if your speech is a sad commentary to the human race. Semper Fi my friend
I spent my time in the US Navy in order to preserve my right of free speach! Yes I am a veteran! The difference is I dont make excuses for my wife, not buying a car because the shade of red is a little off is ridiculous. And I would tell that to my wife’s face. Something you clearly dont want to do. To say it kindly!
You can make excuses, I wont!
Two words my Navy friend… “Internet Troll”… outa here
Nice way to run! Tells me everything I need to know!
Not into the taillights, not retro and not modernized either, just doesn’t look right.
Put the bow tie back where it belongs, out front
Not quite sure about that front end just yet , looks kinda like someone in engineering likes manta rays. Gen 5 to gen 6 was a good upgrade in looks , these new 2019 models I’m not so sure about
Just an awful design plain and simple. Just think about it. A design that has to grow on you in order for you to to appreciate it. A cars design should create excitement and it starts with the right styling. Especially a sports car. if that’s the best that they can design they should all go back to design school. Same colors as the previous model. Just unreal.
Perhaps GM should consider asking what the consumer wants to see before they decide to take that production leap.
Put various renditions up on line, see which ones garner the most attention …… then get the design engineering group to pay attention to what they are hearing.
The car in mechanical engineering is fantastic, performance, handling, all where it should be.
Body design for the new 2019 is not where it should be. Each change should be an improvement to the car as a whole, not just a partial improvement to one area or design.
I have had every generation of Camaro built, except the 5th gen, I didn’t like the dash or interior so I didn’t buy one, along came the 6th gen , improved the dash and interior and I bought one. It’s that simple , what the consumer likes is what they buy.
GM ……. pay attention to what the consumer has to say
The truest statement that I’ve seen posted so far. I purchased an 18 zl1 convertible and to be honest I can’t describe what it feels like to drive this car the performance is unreal. The magnetic drive is just awesome. To be honest with you unless you drive the car for yourself you will never know how good this car is. So yes I agree with you on the engineering side of it. But as far as styling on the 19 they missed it completely. What we as inthusiasts fail to realize is that these things do happen. It is not the first time that the designers fail to achieve a truly great design. But hopefully they will go back and get it right the next time. In my opinion the main reason the cars hasn’t sold as well has been the price. I paid 65800 plus taxes on my car because after test driving it I realized that it was a special car. But the lower end models including the 2ss are truly overpriced.
I agree with you there on price, a lower price point on the 2SS models would definitely help in sales. The ZL1 is pricey …… but this time out I’m saying , very well worth it as the car is an incredible machine, engineering that just doesn’t stop when your on the track and can do it all day long.
GM has entered into the same area as very costly exotics sit in performance, that speaks Volumes in my eyes.
The new LT4 engine is a marvel of serious engineering as is the entire driveline but that body style doesn’t speak the same language as the rest of the car does for 2019.
