It’s unlikely Chevrolet will ever roll out a new Camaro IROC-Z, considering the racing series folded over 10 years ago. However, that doesn’t mean we forgot about one of the most iconic third-generation Camaro designs. Neither has 6Liter Eater Designs, and it showed off its interpretation of a modern Camaro IROC-Z.
The car begins life as a regular sixth-generation Chevrolet Camaro, but 6LE worked to inject IROC-Z design everywhere. The exterior boasts a black stripe, hood louvers, a COPO Camaro hood, flared wheel arches, and a throwback blue hue to recall the original IROC-Z. Under the hood, a Whipple supercharger helps boost power to 700 horsepower to start with the company’s stage one kit. Power climbs to 1,100 hp with a stage three package.
6LE did not release pricing for the car, but it did say it will introduce driving classes and courses for owners who purchase the car. In the spirit of the IROC series, these drivers will be invited to race against one another once a year in a yet-to-be-named charity race event.
