Holden has gotten a tad clever with its Equinox prototypes. To celebrate Australia’s spring equinox, the brand unveiled some very different looking camouflage for the prototype crossovers.
Chi Khi, the clothing brand owned by Australian actress and musician, Natalie Bassingthwaighte, designed the unique camouflage. With the funky camo, Holden invites the public to snap a photo of the new Holden Equinox if they happen to catch a glimpse of the crossover testing. By tagging the Equinox prototype on Instagram, they will be entered to win a trip to Noosa, a gorgeous area in Southeast Queensland.
Holden confirmed final testing the Equinox is undergoing final testing with the prototypes pictured here. Engineers have worked to ensure the crossover, born in the United States, is suitable for Australian driving conditions. The Holden Acadia will follow the Equinox as the brand’s second crossover. The timing couldn’t be better; the crossover segment has grown at an explosive rate in Australia.
Holden says the Equinox will arrive by the end of 2017.
