The Holden Trailblazer is receiving an extra dose of love from the factory with the recently revealed Z71 special edition. Unlike the Z71 found in North America, though, the Trailblazer Z71 is more style than substance.
Nevertheless, the Z71 upgrades do make the Holden Trailblazer a looker. Based on the LTZ trim, the Trailblazer Z71 adds 18-inch black alloy wheels, a selection of black design pieces and a Z71 livery. The black touches can be found on the door handles, mirrors, side moldings and even on the B-pillar moldings.
The “livery” can be found in the special Z71 decals on the hood, integrated with the black stripes, and elsewhere throughout the Trailblazer. Subtle, but not lacking.
Inside, the Trailblazer Z71 gets fancier seats with embroidered “Z71” headrests and a pair of Z71 floor mats are swapped in for an extra bit of pizazz.
For the extra content, the price jumps accordingly. The Trailblazer Z71 will cost an additional $1,000 over the Trailblazer LTZ. Those interested will have to scurry down to a dealer soon, because Holden will offer just 400 Trailblazer Z71s during the month of June.
