Since it launched for the 2016 model year, the Cadillac ATS-V has been quietly establishing the Cadillac brand in the compact ultra-high-performance luxury segment, one that it hasn’t competed in previously. Review after review, the Cadillac ATS-V has proven to be the undisputed driver’s car in its segment. After all kinds of changes and updates for the 2017 model year, Cadillac is giving the ATS-V Sedan and Coupe a handful of minor changes and updates.
On the outside, the Radiant Silver Metallic color is replaced by the Satin Steel Metallic color, which is available at an extra charge. In addition, the 2018 ATS-V deletes the Carbon Black Package, which included the following features:
- Black Chrome grille and rear fascia applique
- After Midnight dark finish wheels
- Carbon Fiber package:
- More aggressive front splitter
- Hood vent trim
- Rear diffuser
- Composite rocker extension panels
- Taller, body-colored rear spoiler
Inside, the 2018 ATS-V does away with the glove box-mounted CD player, which was an accessory/LPO-level item, while adding the-new CUE version 3 infotainment system.
The updates and changes described here are specific to the U.S. market and may be different for other markets.
