Although there’s an entire audience that simply watches the Super Bowl simply for the advertisements and a laugh, brands are hoping to actually see results from the millions of dollars spent on screen time during the big game.
And Buick seems to have a winner on its hands. Yet another survey shows major increases in areas Buick has continued to work hard at improving. Those would be brand awareness, brand consideration and brand recall. Of the three ads measured, which included Wix and TurboTax, Buick was a runaway winner following the survey.
Buick’s pee-wee football ad, featuring Cam Newton and Miranda Kerr, showed excellent recall and a high percentage of participants said they would consider the brand following the ad. Those are both very positive signs for a brand that has worked very hard to shed its outdated image of being a car for the elderly.
