Chevrolet and General Motors can try to trick our eyes as much as they’d like, but we know this isn’t a Ram or Ford. This is, in fact, the 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 frolicking about in the snow.
Previously, engineers tried to fool wandering eyes into thinking the Silverado prototype, was in fact, a Ford F-150. This time, it’s even more evident with a pseudo Ram grille and a fake Ford oval up front.
However, this time we get a full look at the 2019 Silverado in half-tone guise. We can see LED lighting treatments up front and angular, dual-exhaust pipes at the rear. There are also some pretty large grab handles on the A-pillars.
It’s still quite early to gather specifics on the 2019 Silverado, but expect a host of improvements for the next generation of Chevrolet’s meal ticket. That includes plenty of aluminum to bring down weight and improve fuel efficiency from whatever powertrains find their way under the hood.
The 2019 Silverado will also have a cousin in the 2019 GMC Sierra.
