Chevrolet had a surprise at the opening of the 2017 North American International Auto Show’s public days. The brand revealed its life-size Lego Batmobile, which will debut in The Lego Batman Movie next month.
In total, the undertaking took 222 hours to design and 1,833 hours to actually build from individual Lego blocks; the Batmobile stands 7 feet tall and measures 17 feet long.
If it sounds like a lot of work, the proof is in the video above. You can see the Batmobile being built by Lego Master Builders at the Enfield, Connecticut facility, where the builders used a total of 344,187 bricks.
