This particular one you’re looking at is based upon a 2001 Camaro Z/28, complete with an LS6 V8 engine and four-speed automatic gearbox. It is also said to use absolutely no fiberglass body panels to create the body panels and shape of an original Camaro Z/28. Instead, it’s all original Camaro bodywork.
A Chevrolet dealership in Illinois has listed this particular conversion for $56,990, quite a bit lower than the original build price of $150,000 when this vehicle was commissioned. But, if you’d like the best of both worlds, this could be the trick.
