As technology becomes more rapidly available, electric vehicles are becoming more commonplace than they ever have been. That isn’t more evident than with the 2017 Chevrolet Bolt EV, which aims to redefine what it takes to purchase and live with an EV.
Inside EVs has put together a handy chart to showcase the price per mile of range each EV currently sold rings in at. Not surprisingly, the 2017 Bolt EV comes out on top.
The Bolt EV costs just $154 per mile of range it offers or $126 after the maximum $7,500 tax credit. That figure sets a new bar for electric vehicles, likely one Nissan will shoot for when it introduces its next-generation Nissan Leaf.
However, for the time being, the Bolt EV reigns supreme, with the Ford Focus Electric coming in behind it at $253 per mile of range, and the current Nissan Leaf in third at $287.
You could say the Bolt is one big bang for your buck.
