After being brought to Late Model Racecraft for performance enhancements, this 2012 C6 Corvette Grand Sport now makes 417.36 horsepower and 409.72 lb-ft of torque to the rear wheels (it’s hard to see as the ending credits come on rather quickly, but if you pause the video at 1:23, you can see the figures).
Beyond flaunting stout performance, this video shows that love for the C6 is still alive and strong. Aside from tuning Corvettes, and holding the unofficial record for the most powerful C7 Corvette, LMR also tunes anything from a Trans Am WS6 to a late model Silverado.
Needless to say, LMR has been climbing the ranks in the aftermarket tuning world. To be honest, (and yes we’ve said this before, and we’ll continue to say it until it happens!) we’d love to see a side-by-side comparison with LMR-tuned vehicles and vehicles tuned by Lingenfelter Performance and/or Hennessey Performance. Some day.
