This past weekend was a special celebration for a special Chevrolet. 50 years ago, the first Chevrolet Camaro was produced, leading to decades of infatuation with horsepower and driving experience from the bowtie brand.
The car itself, a 1967 Chevrolet Camaro, was on display in a portable time capsule on Woodward Avenue for fans and enthusiasts to experience. While the video above is not driving footage of the 1967 Camaro, it captures the aura surrounding the historical car.
Quick pans and close-ups show the design lines and cues that would embark the nameplate on a journey over decades until it rightfully returned in 2010 with the fifth-generation Chevrolet Camaro.
