General Motors is recalling the Buick Verano Turbo due to an issue with the engine fuel line assembly that increases the risk of a fire.
The defect: the engine fuel line assembly may be misrouted, allowing the fuel line to contact the surface of the engine.
The hazards: if the fuel line contacts the engine, the fuel line may wear, resulting in a fuel leak and increasing the risk of a fire.
Number of vehicles affected: 189 vehicles (United States figure).
The fix: GM will notify owners, and dealers will replace the fuel line assembly, free of charge.
