If you happen to be in the market for a large, luxury sedan, it’s not just about the driver. In fact, it’s more so about the creature comforts found for passengers. After all, you may not even be the one driving it.
The 2016 Cadillac CT6 provides for its passengers, especially within the realm of rear seat entertainment. The optional rear seat infotainment system, which is standard on the Platinum trim, provides a suite of connectivity features to keep things entertaining.
HDMI and USB ports are located on the front of the rear center seat, providing the ability to use Google Chromecast, Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV or whichever streaming service you prefer most. Or, the ports can be used to mirror content directly. Of course, this is all done with the 2016 CT6’s 4G LTE WiFi capability.
Two independent, articulating 10-inch HD screens arise when the technology is active, but are designed to fold away neatly after use, retracting into the front seat backs. Passengers are also able to play Blu-Rays, select media functions and adjust the massage function.
Maybe it’s not such a bad thing to a be a passenger after all.
