Chevrolet has sponsored the Comerica Park fountain for the past seven seasons of America’s pastime, and it has done so once again for the 2016 season.
“Chevrolet continues to enjoy a long-standing relationship with the Detroit Tigers,” said Paul Edwards, vice president, Chevrolet Marketing. “By putting Chevrolet power and performance on display in center field, we hope to inspire our fans and our home team with a winning season.”
Chevrolet chooses select vehicles each year to showcase to the over three-million Tigers fans that arrive to enjoy a game of baseball. It only seems fitting the 2016 Camaro and 2016 Colorado were chosen this year; the sports car and midsize truck were named both the 2016 Motor Trend Car of the Year and Truck of the Year.
