Sales of new Chevrolet vehicles in Argentina totaled 8,200 units in February 2016, an increase of 55 percent compared to February 2015.
And, during the first two months of 2016, Chevy recorded over 16,900 sales. The results represent an increase of 10.7 percent compared to the same time frame in 2015 for a market share of 16 percent.
Vital to the brand’s growth in Argentina is the Chevy Onix. The affordable and tech-laden five-door subcompact hatchback has already landed itself among the top 10 best-selling vehicles in the market. The Gamma 2-based hatch offers high levels of technology and connectivity across all trim levels, including the segment-exclusive MyLink infotainment system, and accounted for 11,000 sales in 2015.
