It would seem the Holden Colorado 7 is in for an update of sorts, judging by amateur spy shots acquired by Motoring. The Colorado 7 was spied camouflaged up and bolstered with cladding to likely hide no sheetmetal changes.
The report states a live rear axle was alive and well to suspend the rear wheels, but the absence of leaf springs indicates an SUV, rather than a ute. Holden is said to be well underway with testing of an updated Colorado 7 and Colorado pickup at the brand’s Lang Lang Proving Ground.
It’s unclear if the changes will equate to something similar to the North American Chevrolet Colorado, but we’d venture to guess the facelifted SUV and pickup will still ring distinct to the global model, rather than the North American Chevrolet.
