The Pirelli World Challenge always offers up some intense racing. The races themselves are typically very short sprint races and feature more than 25 cars all jockeying for position, usually resulting in some edge-of-your-seat racing and passing, or a rather spectacular shunt involving more than one car.
It’s for this reason that Pirelli World Challenge drivers are especially adept at dealing with traffic and passing in tight spaces. The YouTube channel SafeIsFast, which aims to promote safe driving styles and techniques in racing, asked the Pirelli World Challenge field for their best tips in regards to traffic and passing and ended up with more than 5-minutes worth of expert tips.
Among those handing out advice in the video are Cadillac Racing drivers Andy Pilgrim and Johnny O’Connell. They are two of the more talented drivers to have ever raced in the PWC and O’Connell is the current champion, so you can be sure they know what they are talking about. See what they and other PWC drivers have to say in the clip above.
