General Motors’ alpha males (see what we did there?) have found their way onto Car and Driver’s annual 10Best list. Holding down the fort from GM were the 2016 Chevrolet Camaro and 2016 Cadillac CTS V-Sport.
C&D called the attention to detail in the 2016 CTS V-Sport’s suspension a notch above the German competitors, calling it the perfect blend between a comfortable daily driver, but still able to reach out into the driver’s inner track day star. Handling and ride cemented the 2016 CTS V-Sport’s spot on this year’s 10Best list.
This isn’t the first accolade the 2016 Chevrolet Camaro has received, after previously cleaning up to earn Motor Trend’s 2016 Car of the Year. The 2016 Camaro made its way to the 10Best list in part due to its stout handling, and delightful 6.2-liter LT1 V8 engine, which the publication said “has the same punchy startup bark and pissed-off snort at full throttle as in the Corvette.”
Another hefty serving of congratulations to GM, Cadillac and Chevrolet for creating a few all stars this year.
