Companies are scurrying to bring some of the hottest accessories to market for the reinvigorated midsize truck segment, as aftermarket accessory spending continues to soar.
The beauty of the kit is its installation requires no welding whatsoever to install, and and strut disassembly and inner fender well trimming is not required. Rough Country designed the kit to mimic the factory setup for a clean, factory look. And we must say, it looks like they succeeded.
The kit ships with a set of lifted knuckles designed to work with the strut extensions to retain the factory geometry and keep the stock track width intact, while supporting up to a massive 285/65 R18 tire.
This will have to do until we hear, and most likely see, a production ready Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 with factory bits ready to get down and dirty themselves.
Look good, get dirty and check out the video above for a better look at the RC system.
