Now, the same uploader has provided footage of what the industry is dubbing the next Camaro 1LE. Motor Authority pointed out the subtle improvements that may give away its 1LE diguise. There’s a new front splitter if you look close enough, a new rear spoiler and, most importantly, the wide wheels tell us there’s something more going on.
But, it doesn’t look nearly as aggressive as the 2017 Camaro ZL1 we saw at the ‘Ring, with it’s giant front grille, presumably to suck in as much air as it can for the unknown engine hiding under the hood.
The 2017 Camaro 1LE could be an interesting Camaro variant. The 2016 Chevrolet Camaro SS will have more than enough track capability for the average consumer, but the 2017 1LE will most likely take a few cues from either a new ZL1, or an unspecified Camaro variant on the way.
