The Chevrolet Avalanche is one of those trucks many people loved, but only in niche form. It found buyers but, ultimately, its niche standing wasn’t enough to have the model soldier on by itself.
Though, if you have the Avalanche blues, we may have found a nifty alternative for you. Say hello to this 1994 Chevrolet Suburban with the rear cap chopped out, essentially a do-it-yourself alternative to the modern Chevy Avalanche.
The seller has posted his creation for sale on Craigslist, and says it’s time for the project car to go. We think it could certainly become something quite unique with a bit of blood, sweat and tears. The 1994 Suburban sits as a semi-rolling shell since the current owner pulled the engine, but left the transmission. Smells like as LS swap in the making to us.
The truck needs a lot of work but, as we stated, it could be quite the project car for someone ready to dive into uncharted territory.
